I spoke to a friend recently who informed that he was thinking of buying a sports car from the 1990s now worth about €25000. I said to myself, He must be cracked! Than I reflected on my appointment with HRBR the previous week and what I was planning to spend for my own hair transplant (€10,000). It occurred to me that he may question my sanity if I had been upfront with him.Read More
I was with Maurice today for my six monthly appointment and I just want to say how well I am treated by him and indeed all your staff.
Initially I was very hesitant and nervous about having a hair transplant but from the first minute I entered the clinic I was made feel at ease and at no stage did I feel that I was being sold a product or there was a sales pitch going on by the staff that looked after me.Read More
I have been a client of HRBR for the past 10 years and have been taking the prescribed Finasteride and applying Regaine daily. In the last couple of years I have noticed a certain amount of thinning of my hair again and receding of my hairline, as I am still young I do not want to go bald and decided to go to HRBR to talk about a transplant.
“I have to tell you I’m very, very happy with how it went. It’s been fantastic. I do feel younger; the pictures you see show that there has been an improvement. You feel more comfortable and confident in yourself.”Read More
“Simon Cowell came up to me and said, ‘You know, you’re starting to lose your hair, dear”. I said, ‘I am not, dear! And anyway, you’re going grey!’?” But Cowell persisted “Darling,” he sighed. “You are. You’re losing your hair”.
I could have just left it and got on with things, but with TV today, everything is in high definition, and people notice every little thing. And if you’re getting on, and you’re on TV with a lot of young people, you have to look after yourself.
So I thought, ‘I don’t want a bald spot! I’m going to get this sorted.I wanted to get the problem solved before it became a problem. It’s like going to the doctor and getting something done for your heart before it goes.
It’s called maintenance. It’s not a wig or a syrup of figs or an Irish jig. It’s just me, with my own hair, feeling better. I saw what it had done for other people. I saw James Nesbitt before and after and I thought, ‘Hey, he looks better.’ He actually looked good… for him.”Read More
When I was about 24 I noticed, I was in Miami and my hair got wet and I noticed in the mirror. I caught sight of myself in a hotel room and I thought my hair is going on the top. But what kind of saved me was that I had curly hair so you couldn’t really notice it, but it was something that was constantly on my mind and I just was, one, too nervous to do it. Two, I didn’t have the confidence to do it or talk about it, so I just kind of let it go really and then it got to the point where it got worse and worse and worse to the point where I just had to do something about it.Read More
Hello my name is James Nesbitt. Several years ago, I began losing my hair and like a lot of men it was a major concern to me, in fact it was practically an obsession. But, also I’m an actor so I’m in the public eye a lot and I really felt that my hair loss could affect my career prospects.Read More
This is basically the best and probably the most exciting decision I have ever made in my life. It’s has completely changed it. I’d really, it’d recommend this to anyone who can go forward with it and get it done and do it. It will completely change your life. It really will.
I am very happy with the results. I would totally recommend anyone to have it done. I would have it done again in a heartbeat. Yes, I would totally recommend it, definitely.
My experience with hair loss goes back to when I was 22 years old. I noticed that my hair which had been very thick suddenly did not need to be cut as often and that I could actually manage it easier. At this stage I was in denial and because it had been quite thick hair, I actually found the changes handy! However a year later I began to notice that a patch was becoming more visible around my crown and I had started getting a few jokey comments from friends about going bald. There was a history of male pattern baldness in my family and quite aggressive baldness at that. My father and all his brothers were quite bald by the time they were 30 and it was a similar story on my mothers side but a slightly less rapid onset. I knew I was unlikely to dodge the issue now so began to read online on the topic.Read More
